Varsity Assistant Coach

Amanda Clonts


Coach Clonts is in her third year as a teacher at Roswell High School.  Before coming to Roswell , she was the Head Women's Basketball coach at Reinhardt University in Waleska, GA.  Originally, from Murphy, NC, Clonts also attended Reinhardt and is a former basketball standout for the Lady Eagles.

Clonts began coaching at Truett-McConnell College, a two-year institution in Cleveland, Ga., where she spent two seasons as the Lady Bears' head coach.  Following that, she spent five years as the head coach at Reinhardt University in Waleska, GA. 

As a player at Reinhardt, Clonts was selected as the SSAC Player of the Year while leading the Lady Eagles to a 22-11 overall record her senior year. The sharpshooter averaged 19.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.4 steals per game.  Clonts also earned SSAC All-Academic and All-Tournament Team honors in her final year.

Clonts obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in sports administration from Reinhardt in 2005.  She also holds a Master's degree in Instructional Technology.
