Pam Masinko-Varsity Assistant Coach

  

Coach Pam Masinko returns for her third year as part of  the Roswell Girls Basketball  program.  She will work with both the varsity and lower program teams.  Coach Masinko has been a Roswell resident since 1989.  A transplant from Brentwood Long Island where she attended high school earning letters in basketball, tennis, and softball, she was a  four year varsity starter in basketball and was all-conference for 2 consecutive years. Coach Masinko was selected to compete on the Empire State team.  She received the Scholar-Athlete award upon graduation. Coach Masinko was recruited to play Division I basketball at Lehigh University by current Notre Dame Coach Muffet McGraw.  At Lehigh she played all positions from point guard to strong forward and served 2 years as co-captain.  In her freshman year they won the East Coast Conference Championship.  Coach Masinko also played on the Lehigh lacrosse team as a center.  In 1987, they competed in the Division I NCAA playoffs and finished in the top 10 in the country.

Coach Masinko is married to husband John, a Drexel University graduate and has three sports-minded children, Justin, 12, Jessie, 9, and Mac, 4.  Coach Masinko has coached basketball, baseball, and lacrosse for the Roswell Recreation Program and is looking forward to serving in her capacity at this level.
