Junior Varsity Coach Tony Bostardi


  Coach Bostardi is in his 32nd year at Roswell High School where he has coached Hornet basketball for 31 years and coached football for 19 years.  In addition to his extensive coaching background, Coach Bostardi retired from the classroom after serving as the Health and Physical Education department chair for 20 years.  A long time sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Coach Bostardi still serves Hornet nation as a preferred substitute at Roswell.  In 1999, Coach Bostardi was selected to coach in the GACA North-South All-Star basketball game.


  A 1979 graduate of Milton High School, Coach Bostardi attended LaGrange College where he received a bachelor's degree in Physical Education.  He then earned a Master's Degree from the University of Georgia.  Known for his sense of humor and quick wit, Coach Bostardi was recognized with the 2010 Mimosan yearbook dedication for his multiple contributions to the Roswell High School community.


  During the 2012-2013 season Coach Bostardi lead the Junior Varsity team to a 18-0 record on the way to the JV Region 6-AAAAAA championship.  The perfect campaign established a new Roswell boys record for wins in a season by a sub-varsity team.


   Coach Bostardi and his wife Jan have been married for 31 years.  The couple has two daughters, both Roswell graduates and elementary school teachers.  Brittany is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Hannah is a graduate of Georgia College and State University.
