Varsity Head Coach Lesley Broadwell
Coach Lesley Broadwell enters her third year as head coach of the Roswell program with great enthusiasm, coming off back-to-back state playoff appearances including an initial 22-7 campaign during the 2008-2009 season that saw the Lady Hornets win the Region 6AAAAA championship and a 17-10 2009-2010 season, finishing with the number three spot in the highly competitive region that saw the top two teams finish ranked in the top four of the state. The 2009-2010 team lost in the state playoffs to eventual state champion Norcross Blue-Devils by eight points, the closest margin of victory in the state tournament for the Norcross team. During Coach Broadwell's first season, the Lady Hornets set a school record for average points per game at 57, while winning the Century Bank Holiday Hoopfest and the regular season Region 6AAAAA subregion B championship in addition to the region title in a dramatic region championship final over rival Milton in overtime.
